Air Europa operates a daily Madrid → Havana service and has remained consistent through Cuba's 2025–2026 disruptions. It is the workhorse for European visitors and the easiest single-ticket option from most of the EU.
Suspended: Air France, Iberia, Turkish
Iberia paused its Madrid route in 2025 citing operating economics. Air France did the same with Paris-CDG. Turkish Airlines suspended Istanbul → Havana. As with Canada, the combination of low demand, currency repatriation, and Jet-A1 fuel uncertainty made the routes uneconomic.
