The 4-step status tracker

  1. 110 min

    Apply online

Fill in the application form with your full name as it appears in your passport, passport number, date of birth, and travel dates.

  2. 22 min

    Pay the fee

Around US$85 by credit or debit card. Keep the receipt — you'll need it if there's a name correction later.

  3. 324–72 hr

    Receive your eVisa PDF

An email with the PDF arrives once Cuban authorities approve. Check the spelling of your name, passport number, and travel dates the moment it arrives.

  4. 4Pre-flight

    Print and travel

Print two copies. Bring both, plus your passport, plus your D'Viajeros QR code, to airline check-in.

Before you start

Have these ready in front of you:

  • Your passport, valid for at least 6 months past your return date.
  • Your travel dates and the address of where you'll stay in Cuba (hotel or casa particular).
  • A working credit or debit card.
  • 15 minutes of uninterrupted time.

What to do the moment your PDF arrives

Open it and verify, character by character, that:

  1. Your name matches the machine-readable zone on your passport.
  2. The passport number is correct.
  3. Your nationality is correct.
  4. The validity dates cover your travel.

Errors caught in the first 24 hours can usually be fixed without re-paying. After that, expect a re-issue fee.

Special cases

If you are Cuban-born, the online eVisa is not available to you — read our consular processing guide. If you are traveling with children, every minor needs their own eVisa tied to their own passport.
